Extracting More $$$ from your Hives are Free, Value-Added programs that will be presented on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm CST. The May 16th topic is "Collecting Pollen and Preparing it for Sale" presented by John Speckman. John started with bees in 1958 and has been growing his business ever since. He has been collecting pollen for the last 10 years. They currently manage 500+ colonies of bees across NE Kansas and into Missouri, east of Kansas City. His wife, Beverly, handles all of the packing and deliveries while we do fieldwork.
